RTO Multan rattles due to earthquake

MULTAN: The crowded Regional Tax office (RTO) building jolted two times on Monday afternoon due to massive earthquake shocks and the people got panicked and rushed out of the building by reciting Kalma Tayyaba and gathered in the lawn of the building to save themselves but no damage was reported.

The RTO Multan has been crowded nowadays as the tax filers are submitting their tax returns due to upcoming closing date on 31st of October, 2015 but on Monday at 02:08pm all of a sudden a major earthquake shock had been felt and all the people who were present in the building got surprised and in a fraction of second they were jolted once again so they rapidly came out of the building to find a safer place and gathered in the front lawn of the building. It is reported that the second shock remained for round about 30 to 40 seconds but no physical damage was recorded.

It is learnt by Customs Today from the employees of the RTO that due to second shock, the building, windows, fans, tables, files, etc. had been severely rattled and everyone was in a state of trauma and by the grace of Allah nothing bad had been happened. It is learnt that at that time round about hundreds of people were present in the building.
