ASO Hyderabad seizes foreign tyres worth Rs 6,00,000

HYDERABAD: Customs Anti Smuggling Organization seizes smuggled imported Indonesian tyers worth Rs 6,00,000 involving duty taxes amounting to Rs 3,18,000 during a operation in Hyderabad.

According to details Anti Smuggling Organization  Hyderabad seized 102 foreign origin Indonesian tyers . An ASO team following credible information received trough  collector Dr Ahmed Mujataba Memon under the supervision of additional collector Umar Shafique intercepted a vehicle bearing  registration No- TLM 769 and recovered foreign origin imported Indonesian tyers which were being smuggled from Lahore to Karachi

The ASO team asked the driver to produce legal documents regarding possession of tyres but he failed to produce the documents.

The ASO team comprising senior inspector Abdul Ghafar Sheikh inspector Shafi Mohammad Jamali,  seizing officer Mushtaq Ali Lakho and other staff . After making the seizure report the ASO team deposited the confiscated tyres in state ware house Hyderabad
