KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Thursday strengthened against the US dollar in the interbank market, however, it shed value in open market.
According to the local currency market, the dollar gained 10 paisas to reach 105.70 and shed 60 paisas in interbank to be traded at 105.20. On Wednesday, the rupee was down 30 paisa from Tuesday’s closing, trading at 105.60 against the USD in the open market. Earlier, the rupee dropped to Rs106.10. The Pakistani rupee also reached 105.45 in the cash-free market.
