Excise Dept seizes 112 defaulter vehicles

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department has seized 112 vehicles of not paying token tax.

The department has started a campaign against defaulter vehicles. The operation is a part of new strategy to collect Rs 2 billion from defaulter vehicles.

The vehicles were seized from Shahdara, Johar Town, Model Town, Thokar Niaz Beg and The Mall. Most of the impounded vehicles are 1000cc cars. The campaign is likely to continue in the coming days.
