Faisalabad ASO impounded item worth Rs 3.8m in October

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) has seized three vehicles worth Rs 2.57 millions.

Sources told Customs Today that Collector Faisalabad Zulfiqar Ali constituted different ASO teams who confiscated foreign origin cloth amounting to Rs 0.13 million and also miscellaneous goods worth Rs 1.17 million in October.

Sources said that MCC Faisalabad Collector hails the performance of ASO teams of Faisalabad, Jhang, Mianwali, Sara-e- Muhajir, and Sargodha who foils many attempts of smuggling.

The Anti Smuggling Organization confiscated smuggled vehicles under Import and export Trade (Control), Act 1950, punishable under section 156(1) 89 (i), of Customs Act 1969.
