KSE remains in negative zone till midday

KARACHI: The stocks Monday remained in negative zone as KSE-100 index shed 15.76 points to reach 34410.99 level till midday.

The market recorded the highest trading level of 34459.34 points and lowest level of 4368.66 points, with the total volume of 131,590,540 shares. Out of total 270 companies, 118 were up, 137 were down and 15 were unchanged.

Oil & gas marketing companies was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 29,759,200 shares. It was followed by power generation & distribution with a total traded volume of 23,090,500 shares.

The three top traded companies were Sui South Gas with a volume of 21,568,000 and price per share of 41.81 (1.99), K-Electric Ltd. with a volume 16,695,000 of price per share of 8.10 (0.18), Descon Oxychem(R) with a volume 16,575,500 of price per share of 1.27 (0.42).

The top three advancers were Bata (Pak) SPOT with price per share 3082.99 (74.66), Colgate PalmoXD with price per share of 1470.00 (46.00) and MithchellsFruit share of 430.50 (20.50).

The top three decliners were Exide (PAK) with price per share of 965.00 (-32.50), NoonPakNonVot with price per share of 239.00 (-10.60) and Masood TextileXD per share of 194.00 (-10.00).
