In the third quarter, China makers also increased their panel purchases from Sharp and Panasonic, with the two companies accounting for 18% of overall supply due to reduced pricing for various applications.

Makers who are expected to benefit from the ongoing growth include Tsinghua Tongfang and KTC, the firm added. In 2015, China ODMs’ total shipments are expected to grow 13.6% on year to 33.77 million.
