Historic cut of Rs17.50 per kg in LPG price expected: Irfan Khokhar

LAHORE:  Local LPG price of LPG will be cut by Rs.17.50 per kg since the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) reduced by 148$ per ton in the international market, said Irfan Khokhar, Chairman LPG Distributors Association.

After the reduction in the LPGH price in the international market from 753$ to 605$ per ton, local LPG price will be cut by Rs.17.50 per kg, said Irfan Khokhar, Chairman LPG Distributors Association. He said Rs.206 per domestic cylinder, Rs.795 per commercial cylinder and 17,500 per ton price reduction would be made. That is for the first time in the history that price in the international market came down if compared with the prices recorded in the local market. He expressed the hope that downward trend in the price of LPG would continue this winter.
