Commissioner Appeals Masood Akhtar Shaheedi has been transferred to Lahore after his promotion as member tribunal FBR, but the FBR has yet not taken any decision to appoint any Commissioner Appeal. Tax officials are waiting for appointment of Commissioner Appeals because it creates hindrance in the recovery of tax revenue. Most of the tax collection cases are pending due to their appealed filed by taxpayers in the Commissioner Appeal.
