Excise seals over 198 properties following grand operation against property tax defaulters

ISLAMABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has sealed more 198 properties on the second day of the grand operation against property tax defaulters.

According to details, at least 23 inspectors from Excise Department are conducting raids against the property tax defaulters on the direction of Director Excise Rawalpindi Tanveer Abbas Gondal and sealed properties in different parts of Rawalpindi region while also recovered Rs 3.2 million from the tax defaulters.

Sources added that the grand operation is continuing against defaulters and would be completed during the current week.

It is important to mention here that Excise Rawalpindi has already sealed 200 residential and commercial properties of defaulters in a grand operation while also recovered Rs 5.4 million during the first day of the operation.
