Earlier Customs intercepted a Truck bearing registration no. LIT- 4643 near Bypass Jhang road Faisalabad. Truck was loaded with 26500 cans of illegal motor oil smuggled from Iran. Customs arrested the driver of truck who was identified as Bismillah son of Abdul Ghani District Quetta and Owner of truck Rizwan Khaliq son of Abdul Khaliq resident of Mohallah Ghulam Muhammad No. 1 Faisalabad.
Customs official said that confiscated Motor Oil would be smuggled into Faisalabad without payments of customs duty and taxes.
On the other hand, Main Muhammad Yousaf Intelligence Officer (IO) was appeared from the petitioner side and Nasir sohail Awan (advocate) was appeared from the respondent side. The case decided on the basis of the facts and material available.
Meanwhile, Deputy Collector Asma Hameed Adjudication Faisalabad views all the stated facts/documents of the case. After it is proved that the seized Motor oil are smuggled.
Therefore order for outright confiscation of the seized Iranian oil along with carrier truck bearing registration No. LIT- 4643 used for transportation issued ONO in favour of Customs.
