LAHORE: Chairman Customs Appellate Tribunal reserved Monday and Thursday for hearing of the cases in Lahore bench.
Source told Customs Today that Chairman Customs Appellate Tribunal Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti constituted special bench for the hearing of cases due to shortage of members.
Chairman constituted special comprising Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti as member judicial bench-I and Khawaja Omer Mehdi member technical bench-I, special bench-II comprising member judicial bench-II Omer Arshed Hakeem and member Technical bench-I Khawaja Omer Mehdi.
It is pertaining to mention here that before this the customs appellate tribunal hears cases for four days in week but now only Monday and Thursday reserved for hearing. In special case the hearing reserved for any day.
