KARACHI: Pakistan Leather Garments Manufacture and Export Association Secretary Asif Rahim said they use fur in jackets as it has a great demand in Europe, and that there is no restriction on it in India and China. “We are requesting the authorities concerned to allow export of fur jackets,” he said, adding that currently it is illegal to export such jackets.” He said that the association was expecting a meeting with the customs officials to discuss the issue.
