Collector Appraisement West tasks AC Arsalan Majeed to recover Rs 1.5b

KARACHI: Collector, Model Customs Collectorate MCC Appraisement West, Dr Jawwad Uwais Agha, in a bid to ensure recoveries of more than Rs 1.5 billion from tax evaders, has appointed Assistant Collector Arsalan Majeed Rana as a Recovery Officer to do the job.

The officer will pursue the recovery drive against tax evaders, short-paid taxes and duties, and the cases referred to the MCC Appraisement West by the Collectorate of Customs Adjudication after issuing Orders-in-Original (ONOs), encashment of bank guarantees, securities etc.
