KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has taken action against more than 3,000 blacklisted companies for receiving billions of rupees taxes on fake receipts.
Show cause notices will be issued to them from Monday. The FBR had given directions to the officials of Inland Revenue so that they would send sales tax notices to those companies who got refund claims on fake slips.
