Customs Appraisement West collects Rs 20.527b taxes, duties in November ‏

KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement West has collected at least Rs 20.527 billion taxes and duties under various heads during November 2015.

According to statistics available with Customs Today, the Appraisement West collected Rs 7,321 million under the head of customs duty, Rs 9,310 million under the head of sales tax, Rs 3,751 million as income tax and Rs 144 million under head of federal excise duty in November 2015.

Significantly, the Appraisement West collected Rs 1,521 million on the last working day of November 2015 i.e. November 30 that included Rs 616 million under the head of customs duty, Rs 710 million under head of sales tax, Rs 191 million as income tax and Rs 4 million as federal excise duty.

At all, the Appraisement West has so far collected Rs 101,284 million taxes and duties since August 1 to November 30, 2015 that included Rs 34,562 million under head of customs duty, Rs 48,041 million as sales tax, Rs 17, 839 million as income tax and Rs 841 million under head of federal excise duty.
