Multan Customs Adjudication finalizes 40 seizures cases worth Rs 32.192m in November

‏MULTAN: The Collectorate of Customs Adjudication has finalized 40 seizures cases worth Rs.32.192 million in November.

Deputy Collector Farhat Ali of Customs Adjudication has settled 31 seizure cases of Rs 9.492 million in November. These settled cases were formed by Anti-Smuggling Organization and Customs Intelligence and Investigation in the different actions.

Additional Collector Fayaz Anwar has decided eight various seizure cases of almost Rs 17.700 million during the said period. Collector Tahir Majeed Raja has settled only single case of Rs 5 million during whole November in the on-going fiscal year 2015-16.

Almost 57 new seizures cases have been added during the month of November for legal proceeding in the Customs Adjudication during November. There are still 31 pending cases available in the Customs Adjudication for hearing except newly added cases. Customs Adjudication settled 160 various cases of Rs 114.999 million during first five months of the on-going economic year 2015-16.  About 31 cases are still pending from more than three months in the Customs Adjudication for conclusion .
