KARACHI: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Quetta during has seized smuggled items worth Rs 20 million, which were being smuggled into Pakistan through the pilgrims’ buses coming from Iran
Officials said that Customs Intelligence following information checked 40 passenger buses with the help of local police. The officials recovered different smuggled items including plastic granules, dry fruit and auto spare parts from the buses.
The officials added that customs has impounded all the 40 passengers buses out of them numbers of buses were unregistered. They said that steps were being taken to curb the smuggling in order to save the national economy.
