Faisalabad Customs generates Rs 11.3m through auction of confiscated goods

FAISALABAD: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and investigation Faisalabad earned Rs 11.3 million through auction of seized items which were held during different raids and operations.

Sources told Customs Today Custom authorities offered as many as 17 different items for open bid where 10 lots out of 17 attracted suitable bid.  While the remaining 7 lots were rejected by the bidders.

AAJ-872 Quetta against Rs 715000, Toyota Hiace van Reg no. BQU-050 Jaffarabad against Rs 368500, Toyota Hiace van Reg no. BQU-125 Jaffarabad against Rs 610500 and also two foreign origin Hino Ranger truck ( chassis fitted with engine gear box and cabin without loading bucket ) against Rs 6121500.
