Petitioners directed to file reply in cases against FBR

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) single bench on Monday directed petitioners against Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to submit reply if they had taken approval of their companies’ Board of Directors (BoDs) to file cases.

Justice Athar Minallah heard the petitions and asked their counsels to inform court about boards’ resolution if they had passed in order to file case against FBR.

The court was hearing petitions filed by Government Holding Private Limited, Mari Petroleum Company Limited, M/s OMV Maurice Energy Limited, M/s OMV Pakistan Exploration GMBH, Attock Oil Company Limited, M/s Rally Energy Safedkoh Limited, Pakistan Oilfields Limited, Zaver Petroleum Corporation Limited and Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL).

After issuing the directions to submit details, the court adjourned hearing till December 31.
