LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling will hear a case of tax evasion against Haseeb Waqas Sugar Mills next week and may be declare the company director as a proclaimed offender.
As per details, the director of the sugar mill is not attending the hearing of the case since the tax evasion case has been filed.
The Customs Court has also issued arrest warrant for Mian Haseeb, a director of the mills.
The Federal Board of Revenue has alleged Haseeb Waqas Sugar Mills is involved in evasion of excise duty and registered a case against it.
Due to continuous absence from the proceedings, he may be announced as proclaimed offenders.
