As per details, Pakistan and China have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to realise the project and also have conducted four meetings to discuss the various aspects of the project.

After launching of the project, the customs authorities of both sides will be linked to each other through online system and all clearance of import and export consignments will be made through this online system.

The system will carry all record of consignments, including type of items, weight, quantity and other necessary information that will ultimately curb the illegal trade and smuggling, besides increasing the tax collection.
