MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has generated Rs 8.8 million through auction of impounded vehicles and other miscellaneous items.
As per details provided by the officials, six cars, one sports bike and 40,000 litre diesel and furnace oil were presented in the auction. During the auction process, four cars were sold while the bids for two cars were stopped due to court’s stay order and low bids.
Customs Intelligence Additional Director Nisar Ahmad supervised the auction besides him Deputy Superintendent Malik Nasir and Cashier Iqbal Shah were also present. Customs Auctioneer Chaudhary Akram conducted the auction.
