LTU surpasses target by Rs 360 million in December

LAHORE: The Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has surpassed its revenue target for December 2015 by collecting Rs 24 billion against a target of Rs 23.64 billion.

Sources told Customs Today  that the LTU has collected Rs 360 million more than the target assigned to it by the board by showing outstanding performance.

LTU Chief Commissioner Chaudary Safdar Hussain has appreciated the performance of the staff for making the target achievable during the period.

The chief commissioner also showed satisfaction over the performance of LTU during first six months (July-December) of current fiscal year 2015-16. He also directed the officials to maintain the performance in order to surpass the yearly target for revenue recovery.
