LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 29 cases on Wednesday and issued necessary orders and directions in the cases.
As per details, 31 cases of different types, including three pre-arrest bail pleas of Ali Malik, Muhammad Azam, and Muhammad Arslan, tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics were scheduled for the day.
The Customs Court also accepts a bail plea of an alleged smuggler against the surety bonds and ordered to release him.
After hearing the arguments of different parties, the court adjourned the bail pleas, smuggling cases until next month, as the vacations in the Customs Court are going to start from today.
