Punjab Revenue Authority will achieve tax colection target: Ayesha Ghaus Pasha

LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Finance Dr Ayesha Ghaus Pasha has said that people belonging to all walks of life should pay their taxes on time for the stability of national economy. She said that the  Punjab Revenue Authority was discharging its responsibilities honestly and the recovery rate of taxes has increased from Rs 3.5 billion to Rs 5 billion per month in Punjab this year which is a great success.  The provincial minister expressed her belief that due to round the clock efforts of the Punjab Revenue Authority, it will achieve tax collection target at the end of the current financial year.

She expressed these views while talking to the media persons at the ceremony held in connection with disbursement of interest free loans to the poor under Chief Minister’s Self Employment Scheme. Pasha said that the Punjab government was taking every possible step for eliminating unemployment and poverty and provision of interest free loans was part of it.
