Zarai Taraqiyati Bank playing vital role to strengthen agriculture sector

SIALKOT:  Zarai Taraqiyati Bank Limited (ZTBL) President Syed Talat Mehmood has said that the ZTBL has been playing a pivotal role in facilitating farmers and growers by giving them soft agricultural loans and is strengthening the agriculture sector in the country.

He stated this while addressing the participants of an inauguration ceremony after inaugurating the newly established ZTBL branch at Chawinda, Pasrur tehsil here.

He said that the ZTBL is making all out sincere, positive and effective measures to facilitate country’s farmers and growers by introducing soft loans schemes, saying that they are the backbone of the country’s economy.

Earlier,  the ZTBL president inaugurated the newly established ZTBL branch at Chawinda  and he paid rich tributes to the farmers, who defended the motherland by sacrificing their lives and fighting shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces of Pakistan at Chawinda during 1965 Pak-Indian war here.

Chief Operating Officer (COO) of ZTBL Aman Ullah Sheikh, Zonal Chief ZTBL Sialkot Muhammad Ejaz Khan, Zonal Manager ZTBL Recovery Azmat Ali Jaffari, Zonal Manager  Operations Sibtain Ali, Zonal Manager Admin ZBTL Faiz Riaz Qureshi and Manager ZTBL Chawinda branch Zahid Hussain Kazim were also present on this occasion.
