FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation motor registration department imposed fine on almost 420 unregistered and token tax defaulter vehicles during first week of January 2015.
The officials of motor branch checked numbers of vehicles including motor bikes, commercial and private vehicles. The vehicles were checked at different places including Shiekhpura Road, Sargodha Road, khanowal Chowk, Samanabad and Jaranwala Road.
During the checking, the excise officials also seized documents of vehicles
Following the directions of head of motor registration department, Muhammad Afzal Goraya, the team comprising Excise and Taxation Officer Muhammad Sajjad, Inspectors Muhammad Nazim Khan, Muhammad Akhtar Hussain, Ajmal Iqbal and Abdul Staar Awan conducted raids.
