KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Quetta while conducting a raid has seized 650 canisters of base oil.
As per details, a team of Customs Intelligence following tip-off regarding the existence of smuggled base oil in the area of Torkham, raided a godown on the indication of the informer, while the godown was locked. The officials broke the locks and recovered 650 canisters of base oil during the search.
Officials said that smuggled oil has been confiscated under prevailing customs law, besides lodging an FIR against the unknown accused.
The officials said that further investigations are underway to apprehend the prime suspect in the case.
