Customs-LCCI holds workshop on WeBOC for exporters

LAHORE: Directorate General of Training and Research (Customs) Lahore conducted a comprehensive training workshop on “WeBOC for Exporters”.

The traning was held in collaboration with Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). The training was part of DGTR (Customs) Lahore’s external outreach program for the business community.

Ms Kanwal Ali, Deputy Director DGTR, (Customs) Lahore inaugurated the training session and introduced the guest speaker. Ms Zainab Mehmood, Assistant Director, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Customs Lahore, being the guest speaker, briefed the emerging exporters on WeBOC. She gave a comprehensive overview of customs procedures related to exports in WeBOC.

The training was part of a series on WeBOC arranged and designed by DGTR (Customs) Lahore in collaboration with LCCI. The training was scheduled during a six days course on Export Management. The training was attended by almost hundred participants who expressed keen interest in the topic. They asked many export related questions and lauded the training by DGTR (Customs) Lahore.

Ms. Zainab Mehmood, Assistant Director Intelligence and Investigations Customs was mentioned as the “best speaker” in one of the evaluation proformas submitted by the participants. Ms. Kanwal Ali Deputy Director DGTR (Customs) Lahore thanked the participants and management of LCCI at the end of the training. The participants expressed keen interest to attend trainings on similar topics in future.
