LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling approved further 14-day judicial remand of the accused in mobile smuggling case.
The Customs Intelligence authorities recovered 330 costly mobile phones from the possession of alleged smuggler. The suspect was trying to smuggle mobiles phones from Lahore to Afghanistan via Peshawar.
Customs authorities presented smuggler Humayon Khan before the Customs Court Judge Ameer Muhammad Khan who approved 14-day judicial remand for further prosecution and judicial trial of the accused.
