Excise Kasur operation continues against token tax defaulters

LAHORE: Excise and Taxation Department of Kasur is very vigilant against the defaulters of token tax and property tax.

According to Excise and Taxation Officer Malik Muhammad Aslam during the month of January Excise impounded 225 vehicles due to token tax default.  Excise also impounded two mini Mazda trucks because of their fake number plates. According to Malik Aslam these confiscated mini trucks were carrying same number plate.

Earlier Excise team seized many properties on tax default in different areas of Kasur city and nearby cities including Khudian, and Chunian. Many workshops, factories and warehouses were sealed on property tax default.

Excise Kasur continuing this crackdown on special instructions of Director General Akram Ashraf Gondal. Earlier while talking to Customs Today Malik Muhammad Aslam said his department is working hard to achieve the financial target set for Fiscal Year 2015-16.
