The government has also not been giving any rebate on the export of the marble and granite products despite the fact that a rebate of 5 percent is approved as rebate for the exports of marble made products. Khadim said that the industry should be given the facility of export rebate of 10 percent.

He added that additional 3 percent imposition of regulatory duty will encourage the marble market dumped with the smuggled granite and marble depriving the government of important revenues which is not a favorable condition.
