IHC issues notice to Customs Appellate Tribunal in customs reference

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notice to Customs Appellate Tribunal for appearing before the court in a customs reference case on January 19, 2016 (today). The court has issued notice after receiving a customs reference filed by M/s Mujahid Soup Limited.

The notice number-4/2014 states: “You (the tribunal) are hereby summoned to appear in this court (IHC) in person or by a pleader duly instructed and able to answer all court’s questions relating to the matter on 19/01/2016 (Tuesday).”

The notice further cautioned that “in default of your appearance on the day before the court, the case will be heard and determined in your absence.”
