Excise to review six-month performance today

LAHORE: The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department will review overall performance of the department with regard to collections and targets during a meeting today.

Sources told Customs Today that Director General Excise and Taxation Akram Ashraf Gondal has issued a circular to all directors of the regions and Excise and Taxation District officers to present six-month recovery statements during the meeting. He will also brief them on the strategy for the next six months.

The Excise Director General will preside over meeting that will be held at Directorate General Office Shadman. Additional Director General Excise Punjab Masoodul Haq, Director Motor Branch Lahore Suhail Arshad, ETO Malik Aslam, Malik Saleem and other directors of regions will participate in the meeting in which directors and ETO’s will present their six months performance report for the fiscal year of 2015-16.
