Federal Service Tribunal to hear cases filed by FBR employees today

ISLAMABAD: A division bench of the Federal Service Tribunal will hear several cases filed by the FBR employees on Wednesday (today). The employees are seeking promotion to higher grades.

The division bench comprises Dr Nazir Saeed and Ishtiaq. These cases were filed by FBR staffers, Muhammad Afzal, Suhail Ahmed, Ghulam Akbar, Sajjad Ahmed and Saleem Akhter. The petitioner had submitted complaints regarding their due ‘promotions’ at the FBR.

They had prayed the court to provide a relief to them in this regard by directing the department to award them their due promotions on higher scales. They stated that FBR had not given them these ‘promotions’ despite serving it for years and with dedication.

Meanwhile, another FST Division Bench, comprising of members, Rafique Hussain and Syed Muhammad Hamid adjourned hearing, till March 17, 2016, filed by FBR staffers, including, Faqir Muhammad, M Khalid, M Tariq and others.
