LAHORE: The Customs Preventive with assistance of the Anti-Smuggling Unit of the Wildlife Department has recovered 40 pigeons at Allama Iqbal International Airport which were being smuggled from Kuwait to Pakistan.
Sources told Customs Today that Muhammad Imtiaz son of Muhammad Iqbal Gondal, a resident of district Sialkot, was trying to smuggle 40 pigeons from Kuwait. However, the Anti-Smuggling Unit of the Wildlife Department took immediate action and seized the pigeons under Wildlife Act and has also recovered fine from him under the law.
