FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two illegal money changers during a crackdown. The suspects were identified as Muhammad Imran and Khuwaja Nasir.
According to details, Assistant Director FIA Ch Mazhar Ullah, Sub Inspector Malik Sohail, Muhammad Akhtar, Muhammad Javed and Noman Shahid conducted a raid and arrested the alleged persons who were involved in illegal business of money exchange. The FIA team said they were running business without getting permission from the State Bank of Pakistan.
The FIA team registered a case against the accused persons and sent them behind the bar. Further investigations are under way in this regard.
