LAHORE: Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 15 cases which were scheduled for hearing, including pre-arrest bail pleas and recording of statements of the witnesses.
The special court has adjourned many cases, including hearing of bail pleas of three suspects until the next hearing.
Cases scheduled for hearing on Saturday includies tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics. A case of narcotics against Iqbal Baig was also adjourned.
Cases of pre-arrest bail pleas of two accused were also scheduled in the customs court for their pre-arrest bails in a alleged smuggling case but the court adjourned these cases until next hearing. The court also proceeded on statements of witnesses on three different cases on the day.
