Faisalabad Customs seizes non-duty paid Toyota Surf

FAISALABAD: The Customs authorities have seized a Toyota Hilux Surf model 2002 bearing registration no. ILD-3150. The market value of the seized vehicle is Rs 1.5 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Director Riaz Hussain received information that some non-duty paid vehicles are plying on the roads. He formed different teams to check these vehicles. Cusoms team comprising Choudhry Saeed Hayat, Muhammad Saleem and Muhammad Ilyas (IO) and Masood Iqbal, Muhammad Shehbaz, Musadiq Ahmad, Muhammad Ashraf, Muzamil Hussain and Muhammad Anwar  inercepted a Toyota Hilux Surf near Mallo More Jhang and asked the driver of above said vehicle to produce legal documents regarding possession of vehicle. The driver of the vehicle failed to provide any documents.
