ISLAMABAD: Three division benches of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear multiple cases involving the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and its field offices on Monday (today).
The cases, which would be heard by different benches of the court, were carrying customs, sales and income tax references.
According to details, the division bench comprising of Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani would hear a customs reference filed by collector of customs against M/s Al-Haj enterprises, and income tax references filed by Commissioner of Income Tax /wealth Tax against New Era Construction, New Era Construction, M/s Sedco Forex International Inc, and M/s KCA Deutag Drilling G.M.B.H.
The division bench, comprising of Justice Noor ul Haq N Qureshi and Justice Athar Minallah will hear tax references filed by RTO commissioner Inland Revenue, Islamabad against M/s Sheladia Associates, and another tax reference filed by LTU commissioner Inland Revenue, Islamabad against M/s Fauji Foundation. The bench would also address a customs reference, filed by customs collector against Faisal Iqbal Qureshi.
Justice Noor-Ul-Haq N. Qureshi and Justice Athar Minallah will hear a sales tax references filed by commissioner Inland Revenue against M/s NERA ASA.
Meanwhile, a single bench of IHC comprising of Justice Athar Minallah will hear writ petitions against FBR which had been filed by OGDCL, Zaver Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Pakistan Oilfields Limited, Government Holding Pvt Ltd, M/s OMV Maurice Energy Ltd, M/s OMV Pakistan Exploration GMBH, Attock Oil Company Limited, and M/s Rally Energy Safedkoh Limited.
