Port Qasim Customs seizes perfumes, cosmetic being smuggled in guise of dates

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate Port Qasim has seized a consignment carrying perfumes and cosmetics being smuggled into Pakistan in guise of dates.

As per details, the consignment was imported in the name of an embassy of a gulf state declaring as consignment of dates. The customs officials examined it and recovered perfumes and cosmetics and other items that had to be cleared by paying the taxes levied on dates.
