KARACHI: The Customs Preventive has collected Rs 10,795.10 million under the head of duties and taxes during January 2016.
According to official statistics, the Customs Preventive collected Rs 2496.26 million under the head of customs duty, Rs 6,737.18 million as sales tax, Rs 1,139.61 million as income tax and Rs 422.05 million as federal excise duty.
So far, the Preventive Collectorate has collected some Rs 78,204 million, out of which Rs 16,920.56 million as customs duties, Rs 50,982.99 million as sales tax, Rs 7,344.57 million as income tax, Rs 2,956.77 million as federal excise duty.
