MULTAN: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) Multan is functioning without Commissioner Appeals after transfer of Commissioner Appeals from the region.
According to details, the volume of pending tax appeals is increasing day by day due to the absence of the Commissioner Appeals in the Regional Tax Office. The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has appointed Afaaque Ahmad Quershi as Commissioner Appeals but he has not settled pending cases due to unknown reasons. He was transferred from RTO Multan to RTO Hyderabad after Chief Commissioner Conference of tax officials.
