LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has suspended verdict of a single bench about Punjab Revenue Authority and its tax collection as null and void.
According to details, Justice Khalid Mehmood of the LHC has passed these orders while hearing the Intra-Court Appeal filed by appellant challenging the decision of the LHC.
The counsel for the PRA, Malik Awais Khalid, argued before the court that the single bench is not authorized to make such a decision and to interfere in government policy matters.
After hearing the arguments, the court suspended the single bench decision and issued notices to the Punjab government and other parties and the case is adjourned until February 11.
