Customs Court rejects bail of Bio Amla Company director

LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has rejected bail plea of director of Bio Amla Cosmatics Company Asim Zia who is involved in tax evasion of Rs 13 million.

According to details, Director of Bio Amla Cosmetics approached the Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling for his bail which was rejected by the court. During the hearing of the case, special court asked the investigation team to submit the case details. Special Judge Chaudary Ameer Muhammad Khan after hearing the arguments from both sides rejected the plea of Asim Zia and asked the Customs investigation and prosecution team to present him before the court on the next hearing.

While on the other hand another director of Bio Amla Cosmetics Company Kashif Zia has also approached the Lahore High Court (LHC) for bail. Bail plea of Kashif Zia was also rejected by the Special Court of Customs and Taxation.

Bio Amla Company declared lows sales record which is not according to their income.
