LAHORE: The Lahore Tax Bar Association (LTBA) has held a seminar on tax amnesty scheme and the participants pointed out shortcomings in the volunteer tax scheme.
Commissioner Inland Revenue, Syed Mehmood Hussain Jafri, Pakistan Tax Bar President Mohsin Nadeem, LTBA president Munsha Sukehra, General secretary Ch Qamaruz Zaman, Rana Munir, Advocate Maik M Ali Awan, All Pakistan Anjmun-e-Tajran Naeem Mir and others participated. Commissioner, Mehmood Hussain Jafri briefed the lawyers on tax amnesty scheme.
The tax bar members have said, while expressing views in discussions that the scheme is full of numerous flaws and cannot be successful.
