KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office two (RTO-II) has collected Rs 87,103 million revenue in the month of January in current fiscal year.
Talking to Customs Today, Additional Commissioner RTO-II, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan said that his department has collected Rs 85,902 million revenue under the head of income tax whereas and Rs 1,150 million as sales tax.
Answering a question, he said that the department has recovered Rs 86,501 million in December. This shows that RTO-II has successfully collected Rs 602 million revenue more than the previous month.
He said that all RTOs are working hard to recover tax dues as the deadline for submission of income tax returns is approaching fast. Tax payers are submitting their tax return manually or online.
He said that we are optimistic that we will definitely achieve the revenue set target.
