LAHORE: The motor branch of the Excise and Taxation Department has launched a crackdown against token tax defaulter vehicles and seized the documents of 240 vehicles during the first week of February.
Sources told Customs Today that the authorities have started the crackdown against the vehicles without computerized number plates and are token tax defaulters. The department started the campaign during the beginning of the new year.
