FAISALABAD: Regional Tax Office’s (RTO) Zone-III Commissioner Aftab Alam said that his zone has collected Rs 89.46 million under the head of sales tax during January 2016.
He elaborated that zone-III’s unit-I generated Rs 43.28 millions, unit-II collected Rs 41.95 million and unit-III has collected Rs 2.49 millions, while the unit-IV has collected Rs 1.73 million. It may be mentioned here that all the units are subordinate to the Zone-III.
Commissioner Aftab Alam said that the Faisalabad RTO was working hard to collect more revenue in order to meet the yearly target, adding that all measures will be taken to recover taxes from the defaulters.
